An ancient practice of rejuvenation, The Five Tibetans consists of five simple movements performed daily to rejuvenate and “youthify”.
The Tibetans are practiced worldwide, but many do not have access to Peter Kelder’s original instructions. Much of the information available about The Tibetans is incorrect and has been modified to “yogafy” it. There are several books that claim to be written by Peter Kelder, however unless the book is called The Eye of Revelation and was written in 1939 or 1946, it is not an original Peter Kelder work – buyer beware.
My book, The Original Five Tibetans is based on Peter Kelder’s very rare 1939 book, The Eye of Revelation, which I am extremely fortunate to have in my collection. My aim is to keep the authentic instructions for this practice alive and to share them with as many people as possible.
The basis of this practice is the seven Vortexes, or energy centres. Stimulating, speeding up and equalizing the Vortexes is said to help turn back the clock. Like Yoga, it is an energy-based practice, so it is in the Yoga family, but it’s not Yoga and the Vortexes are not the same as the chakras.
Not only do the the five movements, or Rites, affect the Vortexes, but they move the major joints of the body, strengthen the muscles and promote flexibilty. All of these work together to promote ease of movement and overall health and well being, especially important as we age. Anyone can do this practice, however it is best suited to those 25 and older as younger people will already have rapidly spinning Vortexes.
While the Rites are fairly simple in nature, there are many small details to learn if you wish to embark on this practice. I highly recommend reading my book and attending a workshop or taking my online course on Udemy. If you would like a quick introduction to the practice to see what it’s all about, check out my video on YouTube, but please note that this is not meant as an instructional video and is aimed at those who are already familiar with the practice.
Check out The Original Five Tibetans page to learn more information about the Tibetans and to find out where to purchase my book. My book can also be purchased through my online shop.
In-person workshops will be coming soon! Subscribe to my newsletter for updates.
